the first post
It's Thursday night at 8:20PM - I've finally laid my son, Xavi, to sleep on the couch with white noise and his chupi (ie paci) and my husband, Izzy, is occupied with his iPad and PS3 - simultaneously. And now, I get peace (not necessarily quiet) with a glass of wine. Yellowtail Shiraz. Delish.
You may be wondering, why I decided to start a blog? Maybe, you aren't. These days - most people don't need to reason to have a blog - they just have one. Like you have a Facebook, Twitter, Vine, MySpace (yes, thanks to Justin Timberlake - I have a new MySpace account) - it's an extension of you, like your iPhone. So that's why - I just have one. And, well, if I have one - I should write in it.
In my imagination, this blog will contain all of the things that matter to me, capture my attention. Only with hopes that I help someone out in this process. Sure, it will be a mix of baby things, beauty things (as the name would suggest), techie things, food things, or really - whatever my heart desires. So I invite you into my strange world of compulsive buying, food snobbery, and baby and beauty obsessions. Hope you enjoy the ride! ; )
